GMDSI Workshops and Courses
From time to time, GMDSI hosts face-to-face workshops and courses. These often precede major international conferences. Actually, GMDSI has been a sponsor of conferences, these including the PEST conference in San Diego in February, 2023 and the international IAH conference in Davos in September, 2024.
GMDSI face-to-face workshops are informal and fun. They provide the opportunity for those who are interested in simulator partner software to hear from those who wrote the software, and from those who use it in their everyday work. However they go much farther than this. They try to generate discussion between participants on approaches to decision-support modeling that can make best use of new simulator-partner technologies in different decision-support contexts.
