Webinars

Over the years since its inception, GMDSI has hosted a series of well-attended webinars on a semi-regular basis (normally a few per year). Some of these webinars were presented by GMDSI personnel. Others were presented by friends and colleagues of GMDSI, all of whom had lots of industry experience. 

Most of these webinars were recorded. They can be viewed on GMDSI’s YouTube channel. (A few playlists on this channel are devoted to these webinars.)

Webinar themes and topics included the following:

• Philosophy and practice of decision-support modeling;
• Basics of history-matching and uncertainty analysis;
• Optimization under uncertainty;
• How to decide on an appropriate level of model complexity;
• Repercussions of uncertainty analysis for decision-making.
